I’ve never been shy about the fact that I’m a huge fan of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Working in the new environment I’ve been in, it’s probably the most common thing for us to buy for each other to show camaraderie after a difficult shift. It’s also the favored drink of many of my Marine Corps friends when they come home to visit, so it’s a staple in my home. So why not cook with it too? After a few failed attempts, I finally have a smokey, honey and Jameson based BBQ sauce that we’ve been using for chicken tenders, baked chicken breast, and especially for pulled pork.
If you’re using this recipe for pulled pork, one pot will make enough for one large pork shoulder or two smaller pork loins in a crock pot.
