We’ve done this Nail Polish of the Month feature once and it’s something I’d love to do more regularly! You know, like actually managing to do it each month. For the month of November I’ve picked Julep’s Yasmin from one of my recent Maven Boxes.
Julep describes Yasmin as a marigold chrome and I think that’s a spot-on explanation of the color. It has a bit of shimmer that I’ve come to expect from any metallic polish they create and I love the depth of the color. It reminds me so much of the color of the leaves in the driveway right now and makes me even more excited for Fall. It is a two-coat polish that leaves very slight brushstroke marks with a beautiful shiny orange finish. For me this color means Thanksgiving and pumpkin pie are coming, the leaves are turning, and the world around me is becoming just a little more beautiful. Great formula, beautiful color, and so inspiring.
I have been sick with an infection in my face (I know right) so I slacked on opening many beauty boxes including the one that had Yasmin in it. I went on Facebook live to open a Petit Vour, Birchbox, Ipsy, and two Julep boxes including one massive one for their birthday.
